Leadership That Feels Human
I partner with leaders and professionals who want to align how they lead with values of trust, empathy, and presence. This includes philanthropic and People & Culture leaders weaving equity and well-being into organizational culture, founders building teams with care and creativity from the ground up, and leaders moving through burnout who are ready to restore balance and renewal.
I also support mission-driven professionals seeking deeper self-awareness, a stronger connection to purpose, and the confidence to step into heart-centered leadership with clarity and care. No matter which package you choose, this journey is about fostering leadership that feels grounded, restorative, and alive with possibility.
ABOUT CHETNA
I hold a master’s in organizational development and change leadership and a bachelor’s in finance and economics from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. As a meditation guide and yoga instructor, I lead classes and guide individuals on somatic relaxation and breathing techniques. My qualifications include certifications in executive coaching, yoga teacher training, and studies in Vedic astrology. Additionally, I have completed training in the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), which has further enhanced my intercultural competence and understanding.
With over a decade of experience in HR roles within the philanthropic sector, I have focused on bringing systemic change to organizations. Currently, I serve as the People and Culture Director at the Northwest Area Foundation, where I continue to drive positive transformation and create inclusive work environments.
I also serve as a board member for Camp Fire Minnesota, a nonprofit organization offering impactful youth experiences through camps.
In my personal life, I follow Ayurveda, an ancient holistic wellness approach from India that emphasizes balance between the body, mind, spirit, and environment to foster long, healthy, and balanced lives. When I’m not working, traveling, or volunteering, I enjoy experimenting with vegetarian cooking, connecting with different cultures, and honoring my global heritage through diverse recipes from around the world.
Empowerment, healing, and wellness have been guiding principles throughout my personal and professional journey. I am committed to fostering value-driven cultures, advocating for inclusion and equity, and reimagining systems and processes to promote authentic engagement between organizations, staff, and the communities they serve. With over 15 years of HR experience, I have a deep-rooted passion for diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ), influenced by my global upbringing and extensive travels.
My life journey has been shaped by diverse cultural experiences. Although I was born in Minnesota’s Twin Cities, my formative years were shaped by living with relatives in India. There, I was introduced to the transformative power of meditation through family members and elders with spiritual lineage ties to the ancient roots of meditation, yoga, and healing practices. Over time, meditation and intuitive healing work became integral parts of my life’s journey and purpose. Throughout my travels across more than 40 countries and my experience living and working as an expat in Singapore for over four years, I developed a deep understanding of the importance of intercultural competence.
